The demand of Advanced Machining Processes (AMP) is continuously increasing owing to the technological advancement. problems based on AMP are complex in nature as it consisted parameters which interdependent. These also linear and nonlinear constraints. This makes problem may not be solved using traditional optimization techniques. process indispensable use AMP's at its aptness make economical use. paper states Ultrasonic machining (USM) Abrasive water jet (AWJM) processes maximize Material Removal Rate (MRR) a socio inspired Cohort Intelligent (CI) algorithm. constraints involved with these handled static penalty function approach. solutions compared other contemporary techniques such Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Artificial Bee Colony (ABC), Modified Harmony Search (HS_M) Genetic Algorithm (GA).
